Emma Hedrick, 22, is an award-winning jazz vocalist, composer, and arranger. Emma is a three time DownBeat Student Music Award Winner and National YoungArts Winner. In 2019, Emma placed third in the International Ella Fitzgerald Vocal Competition held in Washington, D.C. Emma has performed at the Telluride Jazz Festival in Colorado and at Indy Jazzfest in Indiana. She has also performed at The Jazz Kitchen (Indianapolis), The Museum of Modern Art (Miami), The New World Symphony (Miami) and The Baryshnikov Center (New York City). She is currently attending the Frost School of Music at the University of Miami on a scholarship majoring in Vocal Jazz Performance. This year, Emma travelled to Aspen, Colorado to be the vocalist for the Aspen JAS Academy and is looking forward to competing in Riga, Latvia, as a semi-finalist, in the International Jazz Artist Contest at the Riga Jazz Stage in 2021.
