Emma Hedrick, 23, is an award-winning jazz vocalist, composer, and bandleader. Emma is a seven time DownBeat Student Music Award Winner. In 2019, Emma placed third in the International Ella Fitzgerald Vocal Competition held in Washington, D.C. Emma has performed at the Telluride Jazz Festival in Colorado, the St. Petersburg Jazz Festival in Florida and the Elkhart Jazz Festival and Indy Jazzfest in Indiana. She has also performed at The Jazz Kitchen (Indianapolis), The Museum of Modern Art (Miami), The New World Symphony (Miami), The Baryshnikov Center (New York City), the Concertgebouw (Amsterdam) and Konzerthaus (Berlin). She is currently attending the Royal Conservatoire, the Hague in the Netherlands on a Holland Scholarship for her Master's in Vocal Jazz. In 2022, she graduated from Frost School of Music at the University of Miami Magna Cum Laude and Presser Scholar. This summer, Emma was a vocal soloist in the Jong Metropole "Let the Good Times Roll" tour in the Netherlands and Germany conducted by Chris Walden.
